Spring Practices - Spring SMWC practices going on now at Huntington HS on TTh, 4:30-6 pm until further notice. Coach Jason, plus SMWC's Jason Kisseling and Derek McDermott hold advanced practices at Rampage WC. RWC is located at the Unique Sports Accademy (non-profit organization), 109 Post Office Rd, Waldorf, MD (located near the MVA in Waldorf). Practices are M,W,F - session 1 - kids 12 and under - 5:00pm - 7:00pm, session 2 - kids 13 and up - 7:00pm - 9:00pm. Cost for the program are: $25 yearly membership to gym, $125 per month tuition fee. Discounts are available for multiple family members and for state and beltway league champions.
Williams Wins SMAC and Regionals - SMWC's Jeff Williams, wrestling for Northern
High School, captured both the SMAC title and the South Regionals this year. Congratulations Jeff (left).
Bannister Wins States - SMWC's Andrew Bannister, wrestling for Bishop MacNamara HS,
captured not only the WCAC title,
but also his third straight Maryland Private Schools State Title. Good job Andrew (right).
Fall Practices - Fall open practices were held from Sep till Nov at the Northeast Community Center in Chesapeake Beach. Most practices were small but considering it was our first season at the new location it worked out fine.
Annual
Luau - Coach G's annual luau was Sat, Sep 8th. Many SMWC members were present to
see three new SMWC Hall-of-Fame members inducted, Rudy Rueda, Matt Jones, and Nicole Woody.

Spring Practice - SMWC spring practices ended on Thurs, June 24th. SMWC spring Freestyle practices have been held at the North East Community Center in Chesapeake Beach. Primary spring coaches are Jason and Bruce Gabrielson and Mike Kanaley. Based on participation and interest, a decision will be made at the Luau this fall if practices will continue at the same location in the future.
Nick Alley Gets Married - SMWC Hall-of-Fame member Nick Alley was married in a cerimony held in Westminster, MD, on May 21st. Many former members attended. Nick is currently a high school coach in that area. To Fall/Winter 2006 Newsletter
